Haarup's special vibrating chutes are used for batching aggregates by weight.
The vibrating chute works as a pneumatically operated batching gate which is pushed back during coarse batching. During fine batching, the gate is pushed forward and a vibrator activates the flow of materials. A pneumatically operated shutter is mounted in front of the vibrating chute which opens during fine batching with vibrations and closes to avoid after-run when the batching cycle has been completed. This makes it possible to achieve large capacity during coarse batching and very high accuracy during fine batching.
A steel wearing plate is bolted onto the bottom gate.
The batching gate has five different capacity settings for coarse batching and can therefore be adapted to any mixer size.
Haarup's vibrating chute is designed to ensure low maintenance and long lifetime. The entire unit is hot-dip galvanized. The vibrator is a standard electrical vibrator which does not require a special thyristor in the control unit.
