Modernizations
Haarup have made many modernisations of batching and mixing plants. The tasks have been to either procure a bigger production capacity or to exchange existing, worn equipment.
New gear
Bucket elevator, filling hopper, and discharge belt
Ready-Mix Station
A ready-mix station was modernized. The old drum mixer was exchanged by a modern counterflow mixer. Furthermore, the plant was prepared for a later exchange of aggregate bays by a modern hopper system, which has later been added.
Modernisation of Complete Plant
The task was to exchange a hopper system built of steel containers, mixers, admixture weigh hoppers, concrete travelling buckets and not at least the control.
New Batching Units
Old, rusty steel chutes were exchanged by new, hot-galvanized steel chutes. The batching units were renewed by batching belts and the weigh belt was exchanged by a new, hot-galvanized weigh belt. Furthermore, the mixer was exchanged and the logistics in the batching pit was simplified.
Filling of Sand and Stones
Filling of sand and stones with a customer in Norway. Here Haarup have changed the filling so that this takes place by a transport belt to a distributing conveyor, which is placed on top of the hoppers. Previously there was a ramp to the hoppers, which took up much space in the factory area. Now the ramp has been removed and has been replaced by the inclined belt and the complete filling system. Today the top of the hoppers has been covered.
