Duo-Rail Concrete Travelling Bucket
Haarup offer 2 designs for this type of concrete travelling bucket, either Duotrans whereby the wheels run inside the steel rails or Duospeed whereby the rubber wheels run on top of the rails.
Duotrans
The Duotrans is installed with hardened steel wheels running inside 2 U-rails. The Duotrans is well suited for transportation of concrete over short distances. For travelling in curves the Duotrans is supplied with steering unit ensuring a smooth true movement around the curves, where each wheel is installed with a hydraulic travelling motor. This means that the different speed of inside and outside wheels are adjusted automatically when travelling around curves. Rubber wheels are used and this means less noise, less wear and tear of the rails and wheels. The Duotrans is available with either rotating or bottom discharge and can be supplied for travelling in gradients up to 8 %.
Duospeed
The Duospeed is installed with rubber wheels, which run on 2 I-rails. The Duospeed has the possibility of higher speeds and to climb steeper gradients, which is well suited for transportation of concrete over long distances. The large rubber wheels for travelling offer an extremely quiet and stable form of transportation on the rails. For travelling around curves the Duospeed is supplied with steering unit ensuring a smooth true movement around the curves, where each wheel is installed with a hydraulic travelling motor. This means that the different speed of inside and outside wheels are adjusted automatically when travelling around curves. Rubber wheels are used and this means less noise, less wear and tear of the rails and wheels. The Duospeed is available with either rotating or bottom discharge and can be supplied for travelling in gradients up to 15 %.
